SUNDAYS IN LENT

There are six Sundays during the period of Lent. Unsurprisingly, these are called: the first Sunday in Lent; the second Sunday in Lent; and so on until the sixth Sunday in Lent.

However, the last three are often referred to by the following names: Mothering Sunday, Passion Sunday, Palm Sunday.
