Children’s Church: Sunday Funday

  • Children’s Church is for children from nursery to year 5 inclusive (infants and junior school ages). We meet every Sunday morning in room 5 in parallel with the main service for a game and story, with play and crafts for younger children and dedicated activities for children aged 7 and over. We usually go over to the church and join the main service towards its end.

    We enjoy sensory exploration of our themes, including play dough, kinetic sand, soil and various types of goo, artwork such as sticking, painting, collage, drawing and writing, thinking about how Bible stories relate to every day life with our friends and families, games and dancing, as well as quiet time and prayers. Occasionally, our exploration of the story involves some delicious food.
