Worship at Solihull Methodist Church

We worship every Sunday at 10:30am at the church located on the corner of Blossomfield Road and Station Approach (Solihull, B91 1LG).

Dress is informal, and there are disabled access and facilities within the church, including a hearing loop.

Children are welcome to the services. In addition, we have separate children and young people’s groups meeting elsewhere on the premises for all ages. We look forward to welcoming anyone to our services.

Our Sunday morning service enables our community to gather as a family for teaching and worship, lasting approximately one hour. Here we sensitively combine contemporary worship with the best of our traditional heritage. Teaching is life-related, positively encouraging and challenging.

Children and young people initially meet in the Church Hall in their groups for their own age-related teaching. They then join us in church to finish worship and let us know what they have been thinking about. For very young children, a crèche is available throughout the service, using a supervised area with toys near the front of the church.

At 6:30pm in the evening of the fourth Sunday of each month, there is a Reflective Communion Service with prayers for healing.

And on the second Sunday of each month at 6:30pm, there is Prayer Space which is an opportunity for quiet, personal prayer and time with God.

We also hold a Midweek Communion Service every Tuesday morning at 9:30am in the Margaret Wharam Room at the car-park end of the main church building.

Occasionally, there may be other services to mark special occasions such as Christmas, Lent and Easter and some of these may be during the week. Details of such seasonal services can be found here.
