Uniformed Organisations — Rainbows and Brownies

  • uo-r
  • Rainbows
Rainbows meet every Tuesday evening between 5:00 and 6:00pm during term time. Girls can join when they are 5 years old and leave to join Brownies at 7 years old. There are usually a total of twelve Rainbows in the unit and a waiting list to join. The activities are based on the Rainbow Roundabout which is divided into four sections — Look, Learn, Laugh and Love. On completion of four activities the girls receive a badge. During their time at Rainbows they have the opportunity to collect a variety of badges. Rainbows also celebrate Christmas and Easter as well as having lots of fun making the flower arrangements for the church at harvest time.

    Brownies
The 11th Solihull Methodist Brownies meet once a week in the Church Hall. Our Brownies have fun! They take part in indoor and outdoor activities that challenge them to do their best! The meetings are action-packed; full of games and activities. Everything a Brownie does is an adventure — it is a world of excitement, new interests and friends.
