Uniformed Groups

There are groups of Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts associated with Solihull Methodist Church.
The 11th Solihull Troop has been based at the Church for 53 years.
Beavers (for boys aged 6 and above) and Cubs (for boys aged 8 and above) meet on Thursday evenings, and Scouts (for both boys and girls aged 10 and a half and above) meet on Monday evenings.
Rainbows (for girls aged 5 and above) and Brownies (for girls aged 7 and above) meet on Tuesdays evenings.
The Scout movement is great. Gets youngsters outside ✟. Teaches resourcefulness.
Did you know: Cardinals in the Roman Catholic Church used to wear a large red hat called a galero. Even today the term red hat
can refer to the cardinal himself.
