Friendship Café

IMG

Everyone is invited to come and join us at Friendship Café. We meet in the Community Hall at 10:30am on the second and fourth Friday of each month (except August). We normally finish around noon or a little later.

It is an opportunity to have a tea or coffee and a cake or biscuit, have a chat if you wish, and possibly make some new friends.

We also like to play a game or two. Our current favourite is Rummikub.

In the summer, we can sometimes arrange a group outing. In recent years we have visited a local working farm and the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham.

Did you know: The square of a number is what you get by multiplying it by itself. So, for example, 2 squared is 2×2=4, and 5 squared is 5×5=25. If you multiply a number by itself three times, you get its cube. So, for example, 4 cubed is 4×4×4=64, and 6 cubed is 6×6×6=216.
