Prayer

Prayer changes things!

Wednesday 09:30-10:30am – in the Margaret Wharam Room

Come and join us on Wednesday mornings for a time of prayer. The prayer meeting is relaxed and informal and we pray together over any issues which concern us – whether they are personal, local, national or international. The small friendly group firmly believe that as we humble ourselves and seek God in prayer for our petitions and requests, so we will hear from Heaven and receive God’s help for our lives and the lives of others.

Second Sunday in each month at 6:30pm: Prayer Space – in the church

This is a time for reflection with a relaxed atmosphere for quiet prayer. Here is an opportunity to bring personal concerns, issues and our requests before God, together with others in prayer.  There may be a time of open prayer about our concerns or simply an opportunity to sit quietly in God’s presence and pray quietly or relax and be restored in the stillness and peace.  Everyone is welcome.

Please note that Prayer Space will not happen over the summer and will start again in October 2024.

Other small groups meet to pray during the week or you may be interested in coming along to ‘Pray for Solihull’ which meets once a month on a Friday evening. Further information is available from the church office.

Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain is available for anyone needing prayer for crisis or sudden illness or any other serious situations which may need urgent prayer.  A team of about 20 people have committed to pray privately and all requests are kept in confidence.  Please contact the pastoral co-ordinator (Chris Giles) if you have any urgent prayer requests.
