Gold Award

In 2025, following a visit from an assessment team from A Rocha, Solihull Methodist Church was awarded the status of a GOLD ECO CHURCH.

The award is a very significant milestone. Of about 5,000 churches with awards only 84 have gold (we are number 84). Nonetheless this is not the end of the road. The assessors made several recommendations and the Church needs to follow these up.

Many thanks need to go to all those involved making the church “greener” both in the short term, and, with constant and persistent effort, over the last several years.
