The Methodist Church in Britain is divided geographically into Districts and Circuits. Solihull Methodist Church belongs to the Birmingham District, which covers the area bounded by Birmingham, Coventry, Lichfield and Worcester.
The Birmingham Circuit represents 34 churches within Birmingham itself. It was formed in September 2011 by the amalgamation of four smaller circuits from the Birmingham area; Asbury, Elmdon, Moseley Road & Sparkhill, and South West, along with the Birmingham Central Mission.
