Messy Church

Messy Church is for all ages of children, particularly up to about age 10… and for all the family. So children, bring your parents, grandparents or carers and we will enjoy a range of activities, have tea and a short worship time singing action songs. This is church and it is fun! We are holding Messy Church on Saturday afternoons so that Mum and Dad, if working in the week, can come too. All are welcome!

There was great fun at the Messy Church picnic in the park in June…. And now we are taking a summer break as many folk are away on holiday and visiting friends and family.

We start up again in September and we are continuing holding Messy Church on the 4th Saturday of the month from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.  So we next get together on Saturday 28th September when our theme will be  “Sharing good things “ as we think about Harvest and all the good things that God provides. There will be craft and activities around this theme, a short interactive worship session and our usual hot meal to round things off…. Perhaps reading this will encourage you to come along and take part.

In October we shall hold a Messy Play session in the church, with some games and a meal. We hope to see you and your family at these Messy occasions, a chance to learn a little about bible stories and Christian life, have fun and meet other families.

You are also very welcome at our regular Sunday services, where children are welcome in the service and there is also provision for children in their own classes and a crèche.
