Messy Church – 22nd September

Messy Church is for all ages of children, particularly up to about age 10… and for all the family. So children, bring your parents, grandparents or carers and we will enjoy a range of activities, have tea and a short worship time singing action songs. This is church and it is fun! We are holding Messy Church on Saturday afternoons so that Mum and Dad, if working in the week, can come too. All are welcome!

Sadly, in spite of the glorious summer we had earlier, on the day of the picnic in July, it rained, so it had to be cancelled.

The school holidays are now over and it’s back to our various routines. Hopefully that will include a visit to our Messy Church gathering on Saturday September 22nd when we have a theme of “Looking after God’s World”. We will look at environmental issues and remind ourselves that we have a duty of care of all the God has given us. There will be a variety of crafts and activities in the church hall followed by a short interactive worship in the church, then tea back in the hall. We hope to see you and your families and friends then. If you have not been before, we will be very happy to welcome you. Come along and give us a try.

On October 27th we shall have a Messy play session in the Church. Further dates and themes for the year will be published here soon.

You are also very welcome at our regular Sunday services, where children are welcome in the service but there is also provision for children in classes and a crèche.
