Next Sunday's Service

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 16th January 2022. Booking in advance is required to attend and the service is being streamed live.
NB Please arrive early to allow time for us to seat you safely and follow any instructions you are given. There will be socially distanced seating as well as a general seating area with members of the congregation. Crosses will be provided on seats which are to be left vacant.

Please use this form to book seating in church for the services listed below (please select at least one service). Bookings are accepted between Midday on Monday and midday on Friday. Please book for the group or "bubble" who are sitting together so we can plan seating, even if your bubble is not your family.

Staying Safe whilst in church
Protective measures are being retained to minimise infections and keep everyone safe:

  • Please follow the stewards’ instructions and do not move from your seat unless requested to do so.
  • Please continue to wear your mask in the church especially for singing, unless you have a medical exemption
  • Please use sanitiser and provide your details for our track and trace records.
  • Please be respectful to those who are not yet comfortable with the relaxation of social distancing requirements and may wish to maintain 2 metres distance
  • Please no mingling before the service, teas and coffees are served in the hall after the service, where we can meet and talk safely

Please click on the red button below if you wish to make a donation to the Church or other funds including our Offsetting fund and Action for Children – the charity we support at Christmas. Payment can also be made for car parking discs (adding a note with your name and car registration).

Methodist Conference decision - Same Sex Marriage and relationships
Following prayerful consideration by the whole Church, the Methodist Conference has voted to confirm provisional resolutions on the principles or qualities of good relating, understanding of cohabitation and same sex marriages conducted on Methodist premises or by Methodist office-holders. Unable to attend a Funeral?

Attendance at funerals follows our guidelines as for normal Sunday services for distancing etc. If you can’t attend a funeral, The Methodist Church has produced a service for you to use at home to help you say your formal goodbyes. Click Here to access the service.
