Messy Church is for all ages of children, particularly up to about age 10… and for all the family. So children, bring your parents, grandparents or carers and we will enjoy a range of activities, have tea and a short worship time singing action songs. This is church and it is fun! We are holding Messy Church on Saturday afternoons so that Mum and Dad, if working in the week, can come too. All are welcome!
After our last Messy Play session in June, we now look forward to our Messy Picnic in the Park. It will take place on Saturday July 28th from 15:30 to 17:30 approx, although if the weather is wet it will be cancelled. Those organising will set up in the area near the play park in Tudor Grange Park, if hot and sunny they will seek a shady spot under the trees. Please bring a picnic, a teddy bear and if possible some new friends to share with.
There will be some simple games to join in or just come for a run around in the fresh air and a chat with friends. There will be a few songs before heading for home. Just turn up on the day.
After that we shall be taking a break in August and meeting up again on the fourth Saturday in September, 22nd for a full Messy Church session. We are still sorting out the themes for next year.
We hope to see you on July 28th in the park, if not, have a lovely summer and see you in September!
You are also very welcome at our regular Sunday services, where children are welcome in the service but there is also provision for children in classes and a crèche.
