Messy Church is for all ages of children, particularly up to about age 10… and for all the family. So children, bring your parents, grandparents or carers and we will enjoy a range of activities, have tea and a short worship time singing action songs. This is church and it is fun! We are holding Messy Church on Saturday afternoons so that Mum and Dad, if working in the week, can come too. All are welcome!
We enjoyed another fun Messy play session in the church in April on a wet Saturday afternoon! Craft, skittles, sand play, a maze and a den, an ideal way to engage with children and meet other families.
Our next Messy Church is on Saturday May 26th. The theme is forgiveness and we are calling it It’s important to say Sorry! …. we shall have craft and activities on this theme, plus toys and a video of the story. The short interactive worship session will take place in the church followed by food for all in the Church hall. Come along and bring your friends or make new ones.
The next two sessions on the fourth Saturday in the month will be a Messy play session in June, with our usual Picnic in the park in Tudor Grange Park in July.
You are also very welcome at our regular Sunday services, where children are welcome in the service but there is also provision for children in classes and a crèche.
