Junior Church
Our Junior Church is a fun place to be; a place where all children are warmly welcomed and accepted.
Our Junior Church programme, integral to the overall church focus on growing the whole family, seeks to release and develop our children’s spirituality in a way that meets them in these most formative years of their lives.
Junior Church meets in three age groups: A crèche is provided for those up to age three, followed by Beginners & Primary, and then Juniors and Seniors.
We offer the children and young people Christian knowledge, life skills and values through bible study, music, games, drama and craft activities. These include seed planting, making finger puppets or cotton wool sheep, act out Bible stories, singing and playing games.
Through all of this we seek to introduce children to a living relationship with Jesus, friend of little children, Saviour to us all and Lord of all creation. We trust that these foundations will equip them to go out into adulthood mature in their spiritual understanding of God and in their attitude towards other people.
Sundays begin with children seated with families and friends near the front of church for the 10:30 service. After the child focused opening, the children are taken by their leaders to the various halls where they continue their activities. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to help them settle.
Our monthly communion services sees the children return to share in this sacrament with their parents, while our frequent all age worship services invites families to be together for the whole hour.
Parents collect their children in the hall at the conclusion of our services, where refreshments are served.
We look forward to seeing you. For more information please contact us.
